About PNMT

Precision Neuromuscular Therapy (PNMT) is a highly specific, results oriented method of assessing and treating pain and soft tissue dysfunction. PNMT utilizes clinical reasoning, orthopedic testing and precise palpation to address your particular needs.

One main focus of PNMT treatment is the relief of musculoskeletal pain. PNMT therapists seek to determine and thoroughly treat the source of the pain, rather than masking symptoms with medication or simply "rubbing where it hurts".

PNMT therapists work with clients to resolve several aspects of soft tissue dysfunction:

  • Trigger Points (irritated spots in a muscle which can refer pain)

  • Ischemia (reduced blood flow to a particular area)

  • Nerve compression/entrapment (can cause numbness and tingling)

  • Postural Distortion

  • Weakness

  • Restricted Range of Motion
